1. Anonymous data collection on the website
You can visit our websites without providing information about your person. We will not store any personal data in this context. In order to improve our product range, we will if appropriate only analyse statistical data which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
2. Collecting and processing data when the contact form is used
When the contact form or mail dialogue is used, we collect personal data (individual pieces of information about the personal or factual situation of a defined or definable individual, e.g. your name, telephone number, address) only to the extent provided by you. We will only use your e-mail address to process your enquiry. Your data will then be deleted in so far as you have not contented to their further processing and use.
3. Use of e-mail address to send newsletters
If you sign up for our newsletter, we will use your e-mail address solely for our own advertising purposes, provided that you have explicitly consented to this. We use the double opt-in procedure for sending newsletters, in other words we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously given your explicit consent to our activating the newsletter service. We will then send you an e-mail message and ask you to confirm by clicking a link in this e-mail that you would like to receive our newsletter. Both for sending the newsletter and for the double opt-in procedure, we use an external service provider. The service entitled “Mailchimp” is operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, Georgia, USA. Your declaration of consent to this is worded as follows:

You can stop the newsletter at any time using the link in the newsletter or by sending us a message, without incurring any costs other than the cost of sending the message at the basic rate. A message in text form to the contact details given in Section 10 will be sufficient (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter). Naturally, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every e-mail. After that, your e-mail address will be deleted.
4. Cookies
Our web pages use cookies in several places. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. They serve to make our offering more use-friendly, effective and secure. Furthermore, cookies enable our systems to identify your browser and to offer you tailored services.
